Confirmed from Shine Hill's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Shine Hill
“The most beautiful place I've ever been in my life, even better than my vacation to Cancun, Honolulu, and Sydney combined!”
Truly an incredible park with scenic views. One of my favorite places in the northwest suburbs.
This was a truly remarkable experience. The sunset was beautiful. I love shine hill.
I loved visiting shine hill! It was an experience I can never get back. I’ve only been here a couple times but it’s still my favorite place in the whole world. One of my fondest childhood memories was Dutch dancing in the hills. 10/10
incredible views!!! be aware of the big balk he is nearby. If you hear whistling at 2 am run far far away.
