Confirmed from Shorebird Park Emeryville's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a trail for walking or biking, and views of the bay and San Francisco skyline.
What runners say about Shorebird Park Emeryville
“Nice clean peaceful area.”
“Small but beautiful park, always windy, always fresh, always cold.”
“Shorebird Park Emeryville is a quiet enclave near the freeway, but sheltered from the freeway.”
perfect spot to pull off the freeway and catch you that mid-afternoon nap to avoid that MacArthur Maze and or if you want to take a short nap or if you want to walk around the shoreline to get your boots muddy this is the perfect locale local yuppies haven't taken it over yet limited parking best to walk to
The location is nice to take a short walk to the edge of shore. The little beach atmosphere is pretty neat. Most important is location to do some fishing if you enjoy catching bay Ray's, leopard shark, striper, and rock fish!
The piece of earth going out into the bay is diminished by nine tenths over the last 10 years with the Water Rising there isn't a park bench and there isn't a little table and it's not wide and it's not long and I hope Emeryville puts more rocks up and puts more Earth there and makes the point continue I have pictures…
Sweet little beach area at the Emeryville end of the Bay Trail. The Red Baron sits on wooden piers, Snoopy a d the Sopwith Camel has sunk I to the Bay. (These are not the originals, they were down the trail toward Berkeley.
