Confirmed from Sierra Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Sierra Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (49 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“The only Park for the blind in the area, this place is a beautiful little Park worth a visit and maybe even hack or two.”

It has a woodsy paved walking trail, a large open grassy area, and a baseball field. The paved trail was designed for the blind yet it is rustic with many trees. There are often petanque games going on the packed sand of the baseball diamond even tho it doesn't get much sun during from November to March.

Neighborhood park. Includes flat, paved paths through the 'forest'. A nice bonus are the many signs that identify various shrubs and trees (Latin name, etc). A fine park to take children who ask, "What is that tree's name, Daddy?" Now you can answer knowledgeably!

★★★★★ — David , Jul 2016

Love the trail and the community. Everyone is out walking their dogs or riding bikes with their kiddos. Being a new mom I found myself going with the stroller and the dog! It's such a nice stroll around the neighborhood.

A fantastic little Park with a small playground, a field, and a little wooded area with paths. Best known for fracking farms

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
