Confirmed from Silver Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Spacious park featuring disc golf facilities, trails, and boat launches for various activities.

Silver lake park is gorgeous. This park is perfect for taking family photos, having a birthday party or cookout, playing disc golf (Frisbee golf) or "hiking". The park has multiple pavilions that can be rented at low cost.
A wonderful park in the Clinton County town of Highland, Illinois. They have several trails you can explore, and also offer an array of activities: archery range, aboretum, disc (frisbee) golf course, climbing wall, fishing and boating. Also, a great place to take your dog for a walk.
This is such a pretty park! The hiking trails and lake are quite scenic. We could have stayed for days! There is a tiny arboretum on the road between the reservoir and the lake. There wasn't much going on there when we visited in June, but it might be prettier when the spring trees blossom and in the fall.
