Confirmed from Simmons Island Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

My favorite beach spot! Two great things: Plenty of open space, and if you don't want to be in direct sun, there's an area shaded by trees!! Plenty parking space, no fee's, lots of picnic tables all around, nice grass areas, a shelter as well, a lighthouse you can walk up to and watch kids/teens jump and dive (see…

This was a gem of a place to visit. Make a stop and enjoy the picturesque view. Walk along the lake and take in the beautiful Marina, parks. If you happened to be there Saturday morning you can visit the farmers market. We can't wait to go back and explore some more.

Very clean beach. Less than 1 minute walk to the beach from parking area. Less crowded and clean facilty. It has all the amenities restrooms, playground next to beach and picnic area and grills close by. Will be back for sure.

Clean and peaceful. Great view! Plenty of parking. Path for biking and walking. Beach is clean and spacious. Rocky area is great for climbing, as well as sitting. Definitely a place to add to a “must visit”.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
