This was an interesting, unique place. I went to hike, but ended up running into a bunch of private property. Then I came to a sports club entrance that I turned around at because it's a private area as well.

Sunday morning (December 2025) hike at Nashawtuc Hill (Concord, MA). I parked at the dirt lot for Simon Willard Woods, took the path north, did the loop for Cameron Woods, then down & back on the Reformatory Branch trail with a detour on the return via Egg Rock Land.

Wonderful, easy hiking spot along the river to Egg Rock, with a lovely lookout over the convergence of the Assabet and Sudbury Rivers. An easy hour out-and-back from the parking area. Terrific idea for a walk with younger kids.
