Confirmed from Simpson Garden Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Simpson Garden Park
“Such a lovely, well kept and peaceful garden for strolling and relaxing.”
“Beautiful park with really nice spaces to reflect and meditate.”
“Quiet little nook embedded in a neighborhood where you feel like you've walked into another world.”
This park was a breath of fresh air, literally. It felt like a sanctuary and had scattered areas to sit and take in nature. It was well manicured and cared for. The paths were clear and clean, and plants labeled for identifying. It seems like it’s well accessible for nearby neighbors as well.
It was getting warmer outside, so we planned to have a walk. We found this place and we felt happy 😃 We could feel the warmth of mr sun. A good place to take a walk, but you have to be careful when you visit there after the snow. It’s because so many slippery ice in here and there.
Really cool area to walk! You can walk through a beautifully landscaped garden, close to the Simpson Building, or through a couple of walking trails that have a few sculptures. Items are labeled throughout the whole garden helping to inform you what you're looking at.
The front display of flowers is lackluster in comparison to the rest of the gardens so don't be fooled. The gardens keep going and going! The hosta garden was my favorite part! It's a nice walk if you bring your dog.
