Confirmed from Farnsworth Metropark's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

On a long road trip with two dogs, just passing through and stopped here for a walk. Holy cow! I did not know how gorgeous this would be! We were there at sunrise. People were going out for runs, and as a distance runner myself I was so envious of their fabulous route! The old abandoned bridge is amazing!

The playground is located at 8801 S. River Rd. Not the address here on google so be mindful of that! This is a beautiful park. Being right on the river is great. There are trails you can walk up and down the river on and this specific area had a kayak rental place and launch.

What a great little park located in Waterville, OH. With scenic riverfront views just about everywhere, you can’t pick a bad spot to enjoy the park. Parking was a breeze with plenty of open spots. Mind you it was sunset timing and on a weekday. Exploring the historic Interurban Bridge is a must.

Beautiful park. Trails to hike or ride bikes. Kayaked around the islands, it was beautiful.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
