This is one of those places I had no idea even existed, and I've lived in the area for over 12 years. My girlfriend, who lives 700 miles away (and whom, I have no doubt, could find a beautiful park or memorial on the Moon...) Came to visit for a week, and discovered this place within the first 2 hours she was here.
Seems like a pretty popular place, even on a December day. Some things are worn down and could use some attention. It is a lovely place to walk. There is an OKC bombing memorial. Several nice places to sit and relax. Very peaceful.
Nice park with a long walking trail and markers that denote the city's connection with its sister city
Slowly but surely all the damage from the tornado is being repaired. It is a good place for older people to walk. Nice smooth level side walks.
