Confirmed from Sixteenth Street Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Expansive recreational space featuring baseball diamonds, a playground, BBQ grills, and green space.

Awesome little park. Off the beaten path so it's not super crowded. My 11 yr old loves it.
I was feeling my age a bit as I debated if I would look too creepy climbing up the octopus shaped kid park centerpiece of slides, monkey bars, and livid paint colors, probable swings, and other of my favorite childhood park experiences I would never miss as a older kid even, which I now barely am seen as anymore by…
This park is my nine-year-old favorite park. There’s a little kid area there as well for my toddler so it’s perfect and sometimes I’ll even bring my dogs here and walk them around and put them in the little cage area where it’s for a game but nobody ever goes in there, so I’ll just run around in there with my dogs off…
Beautiful park with plenty of room for kids to run, along with a fantastic playground set up. My daughter grew up playing here on the weekends. I walk my dog here all the time and it's lovely!
Trail conditions & character
“Great place to have a kids bday party and most importantly there is a camera system setup above the bathrooms that is linked directly to the local PD.”
“I love parking here to read while listen to kids laugh and play and people are calling for their dogs to get the ball, etc.”
“Plenty of parking, fun playground, lots and lots of green grass!”

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
