Confirmed from Skyline Park (Burnett's Mound)'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring hiking trails with scenic views that's suitable for children.
What runners say about Skyline Park (Burnett's Mound)
“There are several trails though the woods and a great scenic view of Topeka.”
“Also a great place to run or ride mountain bikes.”
Great Park with trails, views and mountain bike features. It is Topeka's little mountain. Parking area off street. Descriptions of history in the area. Definitely a place to see, walk, and explore if you are in Topeka. Also a great place to run or ride mountain bikes. Plus, 360 views of northeast Kansas.
I went biking, the trails were a little muddy, but that is understandable with the rain. A few low branches, abundant cobwebs, some areas needed some maintaince. A few of the features were muddy. Overall a very pretty ride.
One of the best hiking spots in Topeka. Trails are shorter than other area trails, but are a tad rougher groomed. Great sunset watching or moons rising up spot!
Great trail system with good views of the city. Trails are great for hiking, running, and biking.
