Slaughter park and trail was a blast for the kids and I, a wonderful spontaneous afternoon.
Great park. It's big and has plenty of different activity options. The path is great for walking. Big parking lot.
Large park with great trails through the woods. Some are even paved. There is also a nice 2 story playground with multiple slides. Clean restrooms, baseball fields, football fields , covered basketball court, large parking lot, exercise equipment and drinking fountains.
The sports complex seems nice, though I was here for the walking trails at the back of the park. There aren't many miles of trails, but they are pretty, peaceful, and well-kept! Came on a Sunday afternoon, and it wasn't busy at all - just some families enjoying the weather for picnics and volleyball. I'd visit again!
