This park is fun & clean. There is plenty of space to hang out for people of all ages and pets. There is 2 separate parking lots nice for driving practice. There is nice bike path through park & around neighborhood. The playground is in great condition.
Park is really in 2 parts. The upper level has the kids playground, brick building with restrooms and covered picnic tables. Other picnic tables and grills along the hillside. The lower level has a large parking lot, and boat landing with plenty of parking for trailers. Nice beach and swimming area.
Beautiful park with playground, swim beach, picnic tables all over, & walking trails.
Easy paved loop trail around marshy area. Lots of blue herons, egrets, ducks, & more in summer. Have also seen a bittern, and green herons. Winter has few birds (sometimes some woodpeckers, & other birds we could hear but not find). Winter brings its own beauty.
