Confirmed from Snooks Bottom Open Space's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Snooks Bottom Open Space
“Beautiful lake to swim or just to walk around perfect place to have that contact with our nature”
“We bring our disks and have fun or bring the dog for a well deserved walk.”
I LOVE Snooks! Fishing, hiking, disc golf, swimming, paddle boarding, bird watching😍 Also seems to be the place everyone likes to bring their dogs so if you love pups you'll meet plenty on a day at Snooks. It's quite a walk down to the water but they do have a paved pathway.
Went for a wonderful hike with my dogs - loads of marked and unmarked trails. We happened to be there during mud season and whoa! That caliche made the hike a challenge but it made it more fun. Gorgeous views of the Colorado River!
We bring our disks and have fun or bring the dog for a well deserved walk. It is easy to train her to listen when there are obstacles every once in a while. The disk course is always super fun, but it is in the hot sun so just be warned. The lake is always a place to enjoy the water. Either kayaking or fishing.
Great place for Frisbee golf course 😄 the parking is small so watch out for all the hikers. The course goes down over the hill be careful but fun open course 😜 .
