My husband and three kids (11, 8, and 1.5) stumbled on this trail and hike randomly while driving and looking for a place to explore. Tip: take a photo of the trail map before you start to make sure you’re on the loop - a lot of it is unmarked and confusing. - not recommended to take dogs on entire loop- because when you pass the falls the trail becomes rocky and require light scrambling which can hurt puppy paws, but if you turn around after you…
Beautiful falls, the trail was pretty rocky on the left side of the loop. You can tell there has been a lot of fresh trail work (thank you!!) For the most part the trails clear. If your looking for the easiest way, I would start counterclockwise, go to the right, and do an out an back not the loop.
Great waterfall hike; TH easy to access from Camp Shepherd off 410. Check WTA or Alltrails for current trail conditions.
