Confirmed from Snyder Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful park! They have pavilions, bike trails, nature trails, and more. We spent our time at the lake! The water was clean and blue. It was really beautiful and our dogs loved swimming and splashing around! It’s definitely rocky so be careful where you step. All of the dogs were well behaved.

I recently visited the dog swim area at Snyder Park, and I can’t rave enough about our experience! This hidden gem is perfect for pups and their owners looking for a fun day in the water. First and foremost, the clarity of the water is impressive.

A wonderful park, great wildlife! Raccoons, several kinds of turtle, divers/grebes, ibis, mustavy ducks, squirrels, woodpeckers, iguanas, orchid bees... The trees are colossal! There is a separate dog swim zone and 2 separate lakes, bike trail, tree trail, permaculture food forest, butterfly garden, and more.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
