Confirmed from Sojourner Truth State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Sojourner Truth State Park
“The trails are paved, they have potties along the way, park is kept VERY clean.”
“What a gorgeous place, now with beautiful easy hiking walkways and a great future by the looks of the planning.”
“Peaceful trails, clean paths, and a beautiful place to unwind and reflect.”
I walked down a lovely trail called steep rocks trail that wasn’t a trail up steep rocks but a trail through steep rocks, at the end of which I stood on the precipice of a really steep rock. It’s absolutely gorgeous up there.
One of my favorite new parks. Beautiful so many different areas to walk/ hike. Please let's keep this place as beautiful as can be!
This will the place to be to see the autumn colors along the Hudson River. Nice paths to walk, run or ride a bike. I saw several people walking their dogs. The pavilion along the river is relatively new and is great for looking out on the river, take a rest or chat with a friend.
There are many ways to get to this park. As usual scenic Hudson did a great job. I love the fact that they have restrooms and a nice walking path that takes you down to the river for all to enjoy. I can’t wait to explore more of the park.
