Confirmed from Kingston Point Rail Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Easy walking path (with trolley rides available at some points) alongside a river and a lighthouse.

Beautiful place! You can walk or take a trolley. I took the trolley from the Trolley museum of New York. (I also bought the ticket at there.)
One of Kingston's hidden gems. At one end is the Kingston Rotary park (a gem unto itself) and on the other end is the Rondout waterfront. This a scenic, level and easy to walk path. You walk along both the banks of the Hudson as well as the Rondout.
Great piece of property to be a trail, the tracks are still there, making walking easy but biking a challenge. Small paved portion in Kingston Rotary Park. Runs right along the river and Roundout lighthouse.

- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
