Confirmed from Solstice Steps' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering a playground, picnic tables, and grills, plus a lake and a volleyball court.
What runners say about Solstice Steps
“Great views, personally enjoyed the walking path to the viewer for the city skyline, photos just don't do it justice”
“Solstice Steps is a beautiful and peaceful place to relax, watch the sunset, and enjoy Lake Erie.”
The Solstice Steps are truly a hidden gem in the heart of the city. This serene spot offers a view that's second to none. The binoculars at the end provide an amazing view of the downtown skyline, adding a unique touch to the experience. What I love most about the Solstice Steps is its versatility.
Solstice Steps is a beautiful and peaceful place to relax, watch the sunset, and enjoy Lake Erie. The view is absolutely stunning—perfect for a quiet moment or a catch-up with friends. One thing to note: there are often a lot of people smoking weed around, which can be a bit much depending on your vibe.
The Solstice & sunset together made for a memorable evening with the sunset mirroring only those found in Hawaii. We gathered with the friends & family along with 20 pizzas, to experience the sounds, smells and sights of the great outdoors.
The views are 5 stars! I love this spot for photographs of my clients. Fantastic views of the sky and water + the Cleveland skyline on the other side is a relatively short walk.

“Featuring walking paths to view the city scape, covered picnic areas likely for rent, concession stand for snacks & as if the park wasn't big enough, a playground for the children.”
