Confirmed from Somerdale Nature Trail Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Short, easy hiking trails and bat boxes through the woods and along a stream.
What runners say about Somerdale Nature Trail Park
“Surprising well kept short wooded walking loop tucked between Warwick Rd and houses.”
“Beautiful, peaceful, open.”
“Great place for a quiet walk if you are local.”
It was an easy loop trail. The paths are well maintained. The stream was dry, so not much to see, but we spotted a chipmunk. My daughter was impressed with that and the bat conservation houses in the trees.
Cool 1 mile trail thats a circle. Took our 3 boys to get outside in the nice weather. Has a small stream (water level varies by rain I guess) Good for a quick walk.
Great little trails in the small space provided. Anyone complaining in the least bit about this park is a waste of energy.
Not bad little trail. Little escape from the busyness of life. Cool bat houses on the trees.
