Confirmed from Sommer Park North's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Playground featuring climbing structures, plus a skate park, a pond and a basketball court.
What runners say about Sommer Park North
“Clean and safe but close to nature”
Great neighborhood gathering place for families with small kids (slides, climbing apparatus, swings) and teenagers (skate ramp, tennis/basketball court). Lots of green space and a short circular bike path used mostly by small kids on bikes. No picnic tables and very few park benches.
Baseball/Softball, Basketball, Tennis, Soccer (futbol), Mini-Skate Park, Jungle Gym, Swings (baby too), walking path, trail through woods, pond w/two docks, Pavilion w/charcoal grills. Oh, and an American Flag. Lovely park for anyone who enjoys peaceful time outdoors.
Tom helped clear the snow at the entrance of Sommer Park North so I could enter and exit the park today. The weather was around 50 degrees so I decided to walk on the park trails. Thanks to Tom's kindness and support I was able to enjoy my walk in the park!
This park is clean, safe and fun. There is a large shelter, that is great for a picnic. There are no restrooms. There is parking and a nice trail that goes around the outside of the park. Great place to spend time with your family.
Trail conditions & character
“The only thing is that I don't think there are any public bathrooms nearby.”
