Confirmed from South Bay Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Playground with slides, swings and grassy expanses, plus shoreline fishing.
What runners say about South Bay Park
“The view of the Gulf is nice, the sidewalks are well maintained, and there is an area next to the flagpole that would be great for setting up events with a large cement foundation.”
“It's got a peaceful vibe with open green space, a walking trail, a couple basketball hoops, a playground for the kids, and—my favorite part—a beautiful view of the bay.”

Great place to relax, kick back, and enjoy the view. Also a great little hideaway to get a little fishing action in. Didn't see any signs posting a curfew, but I could be mistaken. It could have easily been overlooked. Has a walking trail or sidewalk as well as benches that overlook the water.
A Hidden Gem in Corpus! South Bay Park is one of those underrated spots that locals know about, but tourists probably miss. It's got a peaceful vibe with open green space, a walking trail, a couple basketball hoops, a playground for the kids, and—my favorite part—a beautiful view of the bay.
This is walking distance from my Aunt's house and has swings. It's a good place to fish or walk, but no other play equipment available.
ACTION vs RELAXATION! An intimate conversation with a loved one or the rare opportunity to allow children to run around without fear of heavy traffic nearby. This is a large, truly quiet & soothing park to relax.

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
