12 out of 5 stars! Such a great trail, a magnificent 360 degrees view of Palm Springs and BIG HORN RAMS! We were so excited to see a group of 7 near the top. The trail is not hard, while there is a climb the slopes are gentle. There were little kids and older humans who got to the top successfully.
This trail is pretty nice. It has a gorgeous view of the valley and golf courses. Just expected to be inclined pretty much the entire way and downhill on the way back. It is well-marked and narrow. Once in a while, you have to let others pass by. No pets/dog is allowed. Lots of cacti and hummingbirds.
Stayed in the Palm Canyon Resort across the street from the trailhead, I walked up to the trail in the morning, ended up at the Simonetta Kennett Vista Point. It was a relatively easy hike. The views along the trail was typical Palm Springs desert view. The weather in late October was nice.
Was really hoping to see a mountain goat. But I did not. There are multiple smaller trails in the area. Including a really easy walking path.
