Confirmed from Southern Pines Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Southern Pines Regional Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (616 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 8 mentions

“I will say that they were at least clean, but it felt like you were in an oven using the bathroom.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“I loved how the bleachers had the shade, it was so nice!”

Park is great! Jordy Grey, Director, and his team maintain a clean facility. Each pod has at least 1 field with turf. Covered bleachers at each field. We play soccer here as well as baseball and softball. Friends show animals for 4H at the facility. The water park is great for hot summers here in Georgia.

We were here for an archery tournament. There is plenty of parking, concrete side walks all the way around the building, inside was very open, cool, bathrooms and concessions.

★★★★★ — Sunbum , Apr 2026

Very nice park and baseball fields they have a small water park in the middle. And a nice playground and picnic area with a couple lakes and walking trails

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
