Confirmed from Southwest Williamson County Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

ShadedRestrooms

Areas for soccer, basketball, softball, football, track & tennis, plus a miniature train & a trail.

What runners say about Southwest Williamson County Regional Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (1,459 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 9 mentions

“This place needs funds and volunteering for painting and clean up, it looked a little sad to me but maybe because it's winter time.”

$2 per person. You can reserve a table but there are tables so you don’t have to pay to sit down. Nice trees for shade. There is a sandbox so bring plenty of buckets. Bathrooms are pretty clean. Nice parking. No vending machines. Overall good place to take the kiddies to get out the house on a hot day.

This is a very good trail. I was going around the park's perimeter, but I took a couple of side trails. It was more rugged and didn't have any signage. Be sure to have GPS or compass to know your way around.

★★★★☆ — Egídio , Oct 2024

A fantastic facility that has all the outdoor sports covered. Basketball, softball, football, soccer, lacrosse, tennis. Lots of field, lots of parking. A first class facility located in a fairly wooded and park like setting.

★★★★★ — Rick , Sep 2018

This is a large park with different areas for hikes, picnic and a splash pad. The Quarry splash entry fee is $2 per person. It's very well maintained. There were 20+ kids playing on the splash pad but it didn't feel too crowded. There a few benches near the splash pad and a shaded pavilion close by.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 7 mentions

“I know it's still under construction, and could receive a 5 star rating if there were restrooms by the train station.”
