Confirmed from Southwood Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Outdoor space featuring play equipment including swings, slides and picnic tables, plus a basketball court.
What runners say about Southwood Park
“It's usually pretty clean as well.”
Nice park with a big open field. There is a smaller playground for the smaller kids and a larger one for the bigger kids. It's usually pretty clean as well. It is connected to one of the bike paths which is great, but it also bring in some foot traffic of others who choose to hang out at the park to smoke, etc.
Full Basketball Court! Really enjoyed this little park nestled in the neighborhood here in Vacaville. They have 2 Swings for kids and 2 for infants. The playground is perfect for 3-9 year Olds. There is a small trail around the park for walking and/or jogging.

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
