Confirmed from Spanish River Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family-friendly city park along the Intracoastal Waterway for picnicking, swimming & bird-watching.
What runners say about Spanish River Park
“Nice, clean utilities with changing rooms, bathrooms, play parks, and a cool painted cove that leads to the beach with cabanas, chairs and umbrellas.”
“Spanish River Park is a beautiful place to enjoy nature, walk among trees, and relax by the ocean.”
“Parking and car access is a little bit expensive but have good bathrooms and tables with a lot of shade to enjoy as well.”
“The atmosphere is peaceful and enjoyable, making it a lovely place to spend the day.”
Great park. Parking is large and there is plenty to do near the lot, picnic tables, grills, bathrooms, park, and showers. It is $25 to park at this park did realize that pulling in kinda high when we only planning on stay an hour make sure your going to spend the day there for that price.
Love this park! Came in about 45 min till closing and the ranger was nice enough to let us enter for free. Lots of fun and exciting things to do and there is a path from the park strait to the beach, don’t have to even cross the road so its safer for all your loved ones to cross.
I love this park. Great secure (under A1A) access to the beach with a long and peaceful beach. It is great for swimming or spending time with the family. Parking and car access is a little bit expensive but have good bathrooms and tables with a lot of shade to enjoy as well. Highly recommended.
Was birding on the trails here. The park has several trails that are not very long. Good variety of birds.
