Confirmed from Spiderweed Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is my first time here and I really enjoyed walking to the ruins it is such a peaceful walk-up it is a bit Rocky. When you get to the ruins there is some broken glass so please be careful.

Great hike. Linear out and and back 3.5 miles. Cool house remains present. Trail head has a map at the beginning. Parking is on the side of the road. Complimentary peace and quiet

★★★★☆ — Brian , Mar 2022

Really good hike close to route 9. I believe the loop was 3.5 miles and has some elevation changes. Everyone enjoyed the house ruins.

★★★★★ — Jason , Dec 2021

Great trail with wonderful rock ridges, streams, views... The stone foundation is so interesting.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“You will turn on a road with a little gravel path you'll have to park right on the side there is no parking lot for this spot that's the one thing I did not like.”
