We did the blue/yellow-blue loop and loved it! You walk through a diverse forest with lots to look at. It gets a bit tricky when walking near the electrical lines because you have to scramble up some rocks, but that’s the only difficult part. We did it with our dog and it took about an hour and 20 minutes.
Seven Fall, Bear Hill, and Mattabessett Trail is a 8.4 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Middletown, Connecticut that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as difficult. 🌲The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from March until October.
Not many picnic tables, but spacious parking lot. The cascades are better be observed after the rain when full of water. It is a small cool park with a small cute trail.
