“Large parking area, clean stands”
Beautiful trail. Love walking all the trails in the State Park. It's so peaceful and easy to walk or bicycle though. It's no wonder it has been voted the “Best Recreational Trail” in the country by USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
Not bad for a hot sunny day in Alabama. No bugs to speak of. My only issue is, I hiked from one into the other. I could not find a physical address for the beginning of the trail at the sports complex.
We went for the Halloween walk. It was great fun for the entire family... especially the kids
Better entrance to the trail with a ton of parking...plus they have restrooms!
