Confirmed from Spring Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This park is pretty amazing. It's got crazy history, the only natural stream in the county, big hills for the area, and tons of huge, old, beautiful trees. There's also a basketball court, trails, a few playgrounds, pavilion, etc. Did I mention the place has a powerful energy? It does, or at least my son and I feel it.

Great trails, plenty of parking and lots of deer. There are multiple different trails with entrance signs and mile markers along the trails. At this park, there are plenty of picnic tables and bathrooms. There is also an RV section to camp overnight. I was surprised to see how many deer I spotted on my hike today.

Today, the excitement of the weekend has settled. My beautiful cousin left this morning. It is a gorgeous Sunday and I can’t bring myself to stay indoors despite the tasks I need to complete. So I headed out to explore another area park - Spring Creek Park in Tomball. My daughter, use to come here for track practice.

★★★★★ — Renee , Sep 2020

Free camping, vast picnic and hiking areas, and overall just a beautiful, well loved old park. Baseball field, volleyball court, tennis courts, 2 playgrounds, archery range, 6-hole disc golf course, gaga ball, and lots of hiking trails down to the creek.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
