We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Spring Lake Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly park with an off-leash dog area, trails and play equipment.
What runners say about Spring Lake Park
“The park is usually pretty clean.”
Plenty of running room for the dogs and trails for exploring. Most people realize they should let their dogs socialize and be themselves and develop boundaries, some don't. It is unleashed, if you're not comfortable with that, don't spoil it for the owners who appreciate the opportunity to let there dogs play.
No trails. Playground and a baseball field with some open green spaces. Bathrooms available. There is an unfenced dog park at the far end of the park.
Great park for off leash dog play. Huge open area, access to some trails and a creek. Definitely bringing my dog here again.
This is a no leash dog park. My 2 dogs love it as there is water to jump in and a open area to chase and run. Bonus is the lady with biscuits at the picnic table.
Trail conditions & character
“The park is still a 10/10 but be forewarned: my dog contracted Kennel cough from visiting 4/26/26 Sunday.”
“There's a station with poop bags next to the dumpster, a porta-potty, and a public hose for water behind the backstop fence.”
