Confirmed from Spring Pond Nature Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Spring Pond Nature Trail
“Beautiful scenery and so many dog friends to meet as well!”
I've been exploring trails this year and I think I've found my favorite one!. It is so beautiful, clean and peaceful. I had such a relaxing afternoon. Just me, my thoughts and nature. Not only is it great for hiking is definitely the perfect place to unwind. They have a small parking. 100% recommended.
I don't want to share this place with anyone else but it is amazing! I live quite close and this is my absolute favorite place to walk my dogs. The trail around the small pond is easy and great for my older dog. The trail around the big pond is great to get me and my young dog some good exercise.
Interesting but enjoyable walkable woods . Was excited to discover it was a loop to a dam then continued w a flat paved walking/ bike path. Woods easy to navigate w paths and trails to off shoots and higher elevations. Was kinda astonished though to discover amounts of charred trees?
Been coming here for years. It connects Salem, Lynn, and Peabody. Here, there is Tapley Brook, Fountain Pond, and Spring Pond. Nice streams, lighting, shade, and more. Little things like MacArthur park, the Meadow at Peabody, and Cedar Grove Cemetery make it even better.
