Confirmed from Spring Villa Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Picnicking, camping, archery, and disc golf are available at this spot with a playground and a pavilion.

Such a nice place to go if you enjoy walking on wooded trails. It is also known for the Penn Younge house which has a very rich history. There is a nice camp ground, rv park, playground to include swings, basketball courts, horseshoe pit, grills, picnic tables, lodge for group rentals, pool plus so much more.
Park operated by the city of Opelika, AL. Quiet, simple campground with clean and warm bathhouse – important for us since our diesel heat wasn’t working properly when we arrived! There was a lot of water pressure for the warm showers we enjoyed.
It seemed like a long way off the interstate but the next morning when we left we realized it's not far, only about 5 miles. We pulled in for the night but I could se staying longer if we had things to do in the area but we were just passing through We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Motorhome.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
