We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Springfield Fen Nature Preserve yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Springfield Fen Nature Preserve
Trail starts up by 20. Park in the area next to the cemetery. Good trail nice big area. Didn’t go too far the grass was a bit high and the ticks were thick.
Very nice place to go. Make sure tho you aren’t like another person that went here and gave a bad review. They went to the wrong side of the park. There’s PLENTY of places to walk and check out. Just open your eyes 👀 and you’ll have a great time.
