Confirmed from Spruce CREEK PRESERVE / Doris LEEPER's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Another amazing park with hiking and biking trails, both are incredibly well kept and maintained. Hiking trails are through a pine canopy plenty of shade. Bring deer fly repellent they can get bad.

Lots of really cool mushrooms and plants! Awesome walking trails, equestrian trails and mountain biking also! I had never been to this part before and will be back. Trails also go to a creek or body of water. Will definitely want to go kayaking also!

I went here with my family, and there are plenty of really nice trails to walk on. They also have horse trails and separate bike trails which makes this place a destination spot for me from now on.

Team Powers had quite a busy afternoon here at Spruce Creek Preserve/Doris Leeper! Wow the name is a bit overdone, but the two sides of this park are quite different and out of the way! The west side has killer mountain bike trails, hiking and smooth off road biking plus horse trails!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 21 mentions

“However, after today’s trip with my two toddlers and puppy, I have to say, KEEP YOUR DOGS ON A LEASH!”
