Great to walk around and see the life. Since we went after Nicole, it was still a bit muddy and the forest area had lots of bare spots. Very sad that the park/camping ground is not super taken care of, but still beautiful nonetheless. Great views, best to go near 3 when it's cooler out.
A large park with restrooms, campsites, a playground, and a scenic boardwalk/fishing pier. There are also some hiking trails but parts of these were quite soggy, probably better to go during the dry season.
Hot and a bit mushy on the lookout tower trail, but beautiful. Wonderful clean restrooms, picnic areas, kayak launch and a pier.
I really like this place. They have a pavilion with a bathroom right by the playground. Convenient for little ones. The playground is very small though. There's a fishing dock and a small area for kayaks. They have a campground, but it is for special interest groups only. My favorite part is the trail.
