Such a great area right out of the city! We came here on a Sunday morning and were one of the only people walking the trails. It was all very clean and well-kept. Free parking and entry which is an added bonus. There is also a picnic area with restrooms which was a great addition.
What an unbelievable Park much larger than what I first anticipated plenty of areas to access the water via kayak or small boat with access points not boat ramps themselves garbage receptacles around the grounds Pavilions for having a nice lunch with the family great place for walking taking in nature fishing crabbing…
What an amazing Trail hike, so many trails to choose from. Biking, Hiking or just a stroll to get outside. Some trails take you to an overlook of Spruce Creek River. Another great thing is other hikers are leaving amazing fairy gardens and Gnomes along the way.
Stopped here after discovering it a couple weeks ago. It's truly peaceful. A little oasis in a bustling town between NSB and Daytona Beach. There's an entrance on one side of the road to a main park area that has hiking trails, pavillion seats, restrooms, some other stuff we didn't have enough time to see yet.
