Beautiful! Go early and enjoy the day there. We went at sunset and it was stunning still! Found a lot of whole scallop shells and one large sea snail shell. Had to wade into the surf a bit to find them, but worth it for the sand art we can make.
Wonderful place to visit! The entrance fee is now $8 just so you know, but worth every penny! There are plenty of pavilions to have lunch(grills available) clean restrooms and access points to the beach. The entire park is just a loop so easy to navigate as well.
St. Andrews State Park is genuinely stunning and impeccably maintained. This was our third time camping here, and it remains an absolute favorite-it definitely has a special charm. We stayed at Site 58, which offered a gorgeous, direct view of the Grand Lagoon.
So far we've loved our stay here! The park is beautifully redone. Beach and waterway access is easy. The camping sights that have the best views don't have shade, so you have to make your own, but the constant breeze really keeps you comfortable.
