A beautiful and serene walkway. We even spotted a crane on the river! This is a great place for a quick walk along the water, through nature, yet still downtown!
I have always loved the trails in Ft wayne, I have taken my children on this path for many years to the Old Fort historic days, walk over the bridge to headwaters parks, to the fountains and over to the skate park! There are alot of memories here, It is great to see revitalization of this area!
Hadn't made it to trailhead b4 we saw our 1st of several deer. EZ paths to walk & stretch the legs. The lady that accompanied me has lived her whole life in the Fort & never knew that it existed. Quiet secret hidden of a Gem.
I feel as if they created this trail head just for me . I ride 24 / 7 and i feel like i'm on another planet. No one barely uses it and the skate park is usually empty. Fort Wayne rocks.
