Confirmed from Staib Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Staib Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (185 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 7 mentions

“The park is exceptionally clean, and it offers various activities for children to enjoy.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 7 mentions

“It's located in a quiet dead end, making it a peaceful and safe place for kids.”

This is one of my favorite local parks, it’s nearly fully reopened, they have a baseball area, futbol / soccer area, basketball court, plenty of parking, and two small playgrounds. The swing sets have been taken down due to the pandemic but everything else is open and available.

★★★★★ — Alexandra , Apr 2021

There's a large gazebo in the middle of the playground equipment, with at least 8 large tables with benches, and a paverstone bike path around. A basketball court and baseball field, sometimes used for soccer, are at the far end. Tall 60 ft trees provide shade

★★★★★ — Linda , Oct 2024

This is a very cute little park, my son and I go here for the playground. There's two playground set ups - 1 for smaller kids and one for bigger kids. And some swings. Very quiet out of the way neighborhood. Usually pretty empty.

★★★★☆ — Lisa , Dec 2023

Scenic, quiet, clean and peaceful. Well the times I go to walk my dogs which is on wkdays.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🤫 Quiet / uncrowded 7 mentions
