Confirmed from Stephenville City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park and campground featuring a pool, baseball fields, walking trails and playgrounds, plus disc golf and water park areas.
What runners say about Stephenville City Park
“Beautiful evening, Kirby and Murphy bit put on a good show.”
We and my granddaughter drive from Arlington to Stephenville twice a month to get out of the city. Eat at Hard 8, play at the park which has many things to do, feed the ducks, fly a kite, go for a walk and play in the swings and slides.
Great place. My family and I enjoy the walking paths. My granddaughter loves the playgrounds in the park. We've celebrated her birthday at the park.
Great town park. Lots to do, I walked the trails. There were bikers, Frisbee golf, a kids' playground, with plenty of parking. (River could use a cleanup project.)
Beautiful park. The water was a bit stagnant, but the park has nice bike/ walking trails as well as tennis courts, playground, and very nice swimming pool.
Trail conditions & character
“Could probably uses a few more trees in areas, especially alomg the eastern portion of the paved trail.”
“Only downfall, we had to leave because we could not find a restroom, besides the porta potties.”
