Confirmed from Stono River County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring boardwalk paths over a marsh, plus islands and gravel trails.

“The park has nice wide open trails through beautiful Forest.”
“With the exception of the boardwalk it is shaded and most of what is visible is marsh until you get to the end where the river is visible but not accessible.”
“My toddler loves it, it's stroller friendly, dog friendly, and it is never super crowded.”
Best place for a short walk or run with the views. They have public restrooms and a wash off area. Dogs are welcome. It is a Charleston park, so if you have a gold pass, it is free. If not, it is a small fee or donation. You can see the sunset, and the path is right next to the river.
Beautiful short 1.5 mile round trip on asphalt, small gravel, board walk. Takes you to an island on the stono river. Dog and bike friendly. Recommended to anyone that enjoys nature walks.
My son and I went for a walk around 1pm. Very nice facility, they have bathrooms and a bike repair station. Plugins for phones. There is a dollar honor system style donation kiosk. Honestly I'd pay more! Great relaxing place to visit.
The parking lot is a little bit small, but today wasn't very busy. The park has nice wide open trails through beautiful Forest. A nice long boardwalk takes you out to two islands in the marsh. The whole walk is only about one and a quarter miles, but it's very refreshing.
