Confirmed from Storm King Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Storm King Trailhead
A perfect place to park to access the Wanoga system without having to drive far out of Bend. I park here, jump on Catch and Release, to Tyler's uphill, to Kiwa Butte, Tiddlywinks, etc. Lots of access points to the NF road system that allows you to connect trails together.
These biking trails were awesome! They were well maintained and very flowy. The up and down trails were excellent. I enjoyed my evening ride here. Not too much pressure but it was smooth with the one-way system here. Links to a lot of other trails.
Great trail to ride really well maintained and you don't need high skill levels.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
