Confirmed from Struble-Lion's Trail Junction's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Struble-Lion's Trail Junction
This is the start of the Lion’s Trail after hiking the Struble Trail. It’s about 2.75 miles north from this point to the end/starting point of the Struble Trail in Marsh Creek. It’s about 3.12 miles if you add the Lion’s Trail.
As I revisit the Struble trail, I never realized how long it was, I had to break it down over time. The beauty of nature and the paved trail made it a popular trail to walk. The history of the area made it also very unique that connects from Downingtown all the way to Marsh Creek State Park!
Trail conditions & character
“I would recommend parking at “The Ponds,” which is south of the “Brandywine Trail crossing,” as it has plenty of parking spots.”
