“I especially appreciated how quiet and peaceful it was.”
I visited specifically to walk the AllTrails Sunset Riverside Trail and found a paved trail leading down via a couple of somewhat steep switchbacks to the banks of the Missouri River. Sadly, once at the River there isn't much of a view, but it's a good walk that gets the heart pumping on the uphill return.
I love this park ! Most importantly, my puppy loves it more . I walk the trails with my dog off leash . ( if I’m there by myself.). The park is clean and. I have seen lots of wildlife.
