We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Sunset Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed, riverside park featuring a playground, picnic tables and a bike trail.
What runners say about Sunset Park
“Great time at mickys kingdom it was super clean and kid friendly I loved the handicap accessible areas offered too”
“There is a large playground at this Riverfront park with good scenic views, nice pedestrian path for site seeing, exercise, or just getting from place to place.”
So I'll give full stars by default. I don't have a kid, and I have no intention to play in the newly built park. But I do like this area for parking to have access to the waterfront walk way and it's fun to play Pokémon Go doing so. The area is nice and it feels well kept and clean.
This is a nice place to take kids to play! There is a large playground at this Riverfront park with good scenic views, nice pedestrian path for site seeing, exercise, or just getting from place to place. Minutes from war memorial, LST War Ship, Museum,Casino and hotels and more.
One of the few parks in Evansville, but a great spot to enjoy the outside. There is a nice playground, some tennis courts, and the start of a bike/walk trail.
Beautiful park with wide paved paths and a children's playground. Great place to take a walk or play with the kids.
