Great little park kinda hidden away! If you would like a great view overlooking waynesboro, this is a great spot. Plenty of parking, bathrooms, place to lock up your bike, water fountian, and a beautiful picnic shelter. They also have a mile of the future 4 mile hiking and biking trail completed.
A great city park, generally not crowded. My only complaint, there were unleashed dogs running loose on a previous visit. There are other parks, especially Coyner Springs that it is specifically allowed. Otherwise, nearly perfect.
The view when you first roll up is impressive, whats even more impressive is the trail work though! Seriously, great job Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition (SVBC) on this first trail on the park. I can't wait to rip it on my bike soon and look forward to future trails!
A phenomenal park with stunning views and awesome biking trails. There is a pavilion with picnic tables as well as multiple little overlooks to take in the beautiful view of the city and mountains. We enjoyed waking along the trails.
