Confirmed from Susquehanna Hills at Vulcan Quarry Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Susquehanna Hills at Vulcan Quarry Trail
“Easy trail with shaded forest.”
Well marked. Easy walking. Trailhead is one minute off the highway. This is not a stunning “destination hike,” but if you’re sick of the maniacs on 95, it’s GREAT. Go stretch your legs and wear out the kids. Yeah, there’s some traffic noise, but we also saw a bunny!
Easy trail with shaded forest. Minor incline at beginning. Mildly uneven terrain in some areas. Well maintained trail. Relaxing hike
