One of my favorite parks to go hiking on. Has a variety of different trails that each have there perks. The white trail is a long loop that is very easy for everyone to do.
Had this park on our radar for several years and finally made it there recently. It was even better than expected. There is a lot to do and see all in one place. There are several nice hiking trails, all an easy walk and well marked, and you can hike right along side the river for a really good stretch.
Wonderful state park, really well maintained, and all of the parks staff members are super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the park. Great place to go hiking, fishing, or even just driving around and sightseeing. A day pass only costs $5.00 for 1 vehicle entering, so it's well worth it, in my opinion. A+.
This is an amazing park to go and hike. It has lots of trails, they are easy trails, some of them go along the river. It has pkaygrounds for the kids and cabins to stay. It is such a peaceful place.
